Education Charity Celebrates 10th Anniversary 2009: Shall Opt

Education charity celebrates 10th anniversary

Question of the week: Shall I opt for the cheaper LPC provider I’ve got two LPC places.
The first is with the College of Law in London and the second with Nottingham Law School. Give the fact that I plan to fund the course myself (fees and maintenance) shall I accept the Nottingham offer as it’s cheaper. Also, any suggestions on where to go for alternative sources of funding as I don’t have a training contract yet Featured Blog: Household names such as Ruby Wax and Holby City actress Sharon D. Clarke will be just a few of the stars performing at the educational charity’s event in March. The organisation helps students, including those wanting to study law, progress to and graduate from university. Bursary and scheme manager Rachel Watters said: “It’s been fantastic to watch the organisation go from strength to strength since it started back in 1998 and this is a great way to mark it.” The HKF was set up by Dr Ann Limb to take forward the recommendations of Learning Works, the seminal report by the charity’s president Baroness Helena Kennedy QC, which drew attention to the needs of adult learners nationally.
She said: “We see people come through the door who have come from some really difficult situations and still manage to get a degree and go on to do great things.”
