GFest, the GayWise LGBT Arts Festival, gives a platform for LGBT and queer artists to showcase their work. GFest is in its third year and its organisers, arts charity Wise Thoughts, said they expect more than 100 LGBT and queer artists take part in the event in November.
Niranjan Kamatkar, artistic director of GFest and arts charity Wise Thoughts, said: “GFest provides an opportunity for a diverse range of LGBT/queer artists, whose work is often unsupported and not well funded, to present challenging and stimulating work that is reflective of themes affecting themselves and the LGBT community.
