(Fermanagh Herald) (View the Digital Edition online) This Sunday sees the return of the popular ‘Rock the Lough’ Festival which is set to be
even bigger and better than before with the main events kicking off at 2pm, when the ever popular bike run will be heading off from the back of the Bush Bar. Everyone is welcome to come and join in with what is becoming a traditional end of summer run for Fermanagh’s biking fraternity.
All the events are for charity and after the massive success of last year’s event where £10,000 was donated to the chosen charities, this year has a lot to live up to.
The charities who will benefit from this year’s ‘Rock the Lough’ will be Palliative Transport Service, who provide transport for patients requiring treatment for potentially life threatening illnesses.
And Positive Futures, which is a Northern Ireland based charity, that helps children and young adults with learning disabilities.
The organisers would like to invite you along to either, or both events and remember to dig deep for this year’s chosen charities. With over twenty live acts featuring the cream of local talent, its going to be an unmissable day and night and all for two very worthy causes.
