Glow Green Night Walk 2024

Light up the night, fight cancer.

Cancer is one of the most common causes of death in the United Kingdom, with over 360,000 new cases diagnosed each year. The disease can affect people of all ages, genders, and backgrounds, and can manifest in a variety of forms. Some of the most common types of cancer in the UK include breast cancer, lung cancer, prostate cancer, and bowel cancer. While cancer can be a devastating diagnosis, advances in research and treatment have led to improved outcomes and increased survival rates. Early detection and treatment remain crucial in the fight against cancer, and public awareness and support for research are critical in advancing the fight against this disease.

There are many organizations in the UK dedicated to supporting cancer patients and funding research. Among them is the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity, which is leading the way in cancer care and research.

As part of their fundraising efforts, the Clatterbridge Cancer Charity is hosting the Glow Green Night Walk Liverpool, a charity event that encourages participants to walk through the city while dressed in glowing green. This exciting event not only raises funds for cancer research, but also provides a platform for raising awareness about the disease and celebrating the strength and resilience of cancer patients and survivors.
