GREENVILLE, SC (AP) – Michael Sim, the Nationwide Tour's leading money winner this season, took a three shot lead Saturday heading into the final
round of the BMW Charity Pro-Am. Sim shot a 9-under 62, tying the course record set earlier this week at the Thornblade Club, to vault from fourth to first at 20-under for the tournament. Three shots back are Blake Adams, who shot an 8-under 64, and Fabian Gomez, who shot a 5-under 67, at Bright's Creek Country Club. Second-round leader Jeff Gove is fourth at 16-under. The event features celebrities and amateurs teaming up with Nationwide pros in a best-ball format on three different courses.
Kyle Thompson and Heisman Trophy winner George Rogers lead that competition at 39-under, one shot ahead of Sim and singer Javier Colon.
