Dealing with a terminal illness can take a toll on one’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being. This is where Marie Curie comes in. This end-of-life charity offers care and support to individuals suffering from a terminal illness in the comfort of their homes. They provide hands-on specialist care for patients as well as information and emotional support to the families.
However, the charity can’t do all of these alone and need everybody’s help through its numerous fundraising events such as this year’s Swimathon. It’s time to make a splash and contribute to Marie Curie’s cause. Proceeds can help run their nine hospices around the UK.
