trademark meringue at her fourth coffee morning to support Macmillan Cancer. Maureen Shilston, 64, decided to take part in the fundraising mornings when she gave up her teaching job at Holy Cross in Kingston three years ago. The charity is close to her heart because she lost her husband to cancer about 20 year ago and watched three of her pupils fight the illness, one of whom was only three.
