Start your Friday off with a bang and do something incredible before breakfast this summer by taking part in London’s Mayfair Park & Tower Race.
The Challenge is to raise a further 20,000 to fund “Galvin’s Chance”, an inspirational into work programme leading to an apprenticeship, college programme or sustainable employment. Initiated by Galvin at Windows, the programme targets disadvantaged young people aged 18-24 not in education, employment or formal training and grants them the opportunity and training for a front of house career in the most prestigious hotels in London.
Starting at the bandstand in Hyde Park, runners will circuit the 4.5 kilometres around the Serpentine through the underpass on Park Lane and entering into the reception of the iconic London Hilton on Park Lane. There guests and on-lookers will cheer on the challengers before they attempt to scale the dizzying 28 floors and 475 steps towards the VIP reception committee and welcome Pommery breakfast at Galvin’s at Windows.
Each competitor ready to rise to the challenge (no pun intended) will pay an entry fee of 20 and commit to raising a minimum of 250 through securing sponsors or by taking part in the exciting, dangerous and highly competitive Pommery Duel. All entrants will receive a race t-shirt and a Pommery champagne breakfast at Galvin at Windows.
All funds raised will be channelled through Hilton in the Community Foundation to exclusively fund the Galvin’s Chance Project.
