If anyone ever needed more evidence that marriage was a marathon and not a sprint, it came in the shape of glamour couple Katie
Price and Peter Andre at today’s London Marathon. Andre himself appeared to be drawing inspiration from cancer victim Jade Goody, running with her name emblazoned down his right bicep. Despite the setback, Price managed to finish the course, with Andre holding her hand for support and with her left knee swathed in bandages. Setback: Peter rushes to steady Katie after her knee during the London marathon The model, who has been training for several months for the 26-mile course, had to pull out of a celebrity polo event last week because of a knee injury. The celebrity couple were among thousands who took to the streets of the capital to attempt the gruelling course.
The glamour model, 30, ran for children’s charity Vision while her singer husband was raising money for the NSPCC.
