Riding challenge for charity rady to go

24th April 2009 MORE than 1000 cyclists will pound the pavement between Brisbane and Ipswich this weekend for one of Queensland’s biggest community bike
rides. The 2009 Goodna RSL Services Club Brisbane 2 Ipswich Challenge will be held on Sunday, raising funds for the Ipswich Hospital Foundation and the Royal Children’s Hospital Working Wonders Foundation. Ride founder Oxley MP Bernie Ripoll said the event started in 2002 and was an integral part of the Ipswich Festival. This year’s ride starts at Moorlands Park and finishes at Queens Park in Ipswich. And it’s not too late to join in. Late registrations will be accepted from 6am at the Toowong starting point.
Entry fees are $50 per adult and $25 for children.
