“In merry England in the time of old, when good King Henry the Second ruled the land, there lived within the green glades of Sherwood Forest, near Nottingham Town, a famous outlaw whose name was Robin Hood”
Is the quote above familiar to you? It’s from Howard Pyle’s novel entitled The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, a story of a smart and courageous young man who, along with his “Merry Men,” fought against social injustice in their land. This May 18, get the chance to run, walk, and skip through the area where Robin and his Merry Men lived, when you join Robin Run Fun Day. Happening at Sherwood Pines, there are three route options you can choose from — 5k trail, 10k trail, and a one-mile walking loop. Funds raised will go to Nottingham Children’s Hospital so they can continue to give the best care to premature and critically ill children in the region.
Join us for a fantastic day out for the whole family at Sherwood Pines on Sunday 18th May 2025 and help make a difference to Nottingham Children’s Hospital.

You don’t have to be agile, strong, nor excellent at archery, like Robin Hood, to be able to help those in need. You just need to have a generous heart, a warm spirit, and perhaps a good pair of running shoes. Get your tickets to Robin Run Fun Day here now, and help save the lives of critically ill children.
