Naomi Barnhart, wife of Saskatchewan’s lieutenant-governor, has “enthusiastically agreed” to have her head shaved as part of a fundraising event the RCMP training academy
announced on Wednesday. Barnhart will lose her locks on Friday night at the hands of her husband, Lt.-Gov. Gordon Barnhart. A number of RCMP cadets, public service employees and other civilian and regular members of the force are taking part in what will be the seventh “Cops for Cancer” head shave. Since its inception, the event has raised nearly $192,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.
