The theory behind Showtime Challenge is simple. Pick a classic musical. Book a famous West End theatre. Cast around 100 fantastically talented professional actors and give them 48 hours to make the entire show come to life. Then perform the show to a packed audience for one-night-only, giving all proceeds to charity.
Hosted by Anneka Rice, this year the chosen musical is The Boy Friend. Set on the French Riviera in the 1920s, this all-singing, all-dancing classic musical will be performed at Her Majestys Theatre on the 8th May 2011 after just 48 hours rehearsal!
