SRSB Charity Pub Quiz

Brush up on your trivia skills and support people with sight loss.

Sight, being one of the five basic human senses, plays a critical role in people’s lives. Most people take it for granted but without it, it would be quite a struggle to do everyday tasks from picking out clothes, to cooking, to navigating places. According to the World Health Organization, “at least 2.2 billion people have a near or distance vision impairment” globally. Children with vision impairment can “experience lower levels of educational achievement,” while adults can “experience lower rates of employment.” For this reason, the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind (SRSB) was created. Over 160 years old and considered one of the oldest charities in Sheffield, their vision is “To continue to be the primary source of services and support for people with sight loss in Sheffield and sight/hearing loss in Rotherham.”

On March 21, 2024, SRSB will be having their very first Charity Pub Quiz of 2024 at Old Queen’s Head Sheffield. It’ll be a night of trivia and laughter, all for a good cause. Proceeds from the event will go to funding SRSB’s community programs.
