Stevie Wonder has been named a United Nations Messenger Of Peace with a special focus on people with disabilities, by U.N. Secretary-General Ban Ki-Moon.
The legendary artist joins other famous faces Jane Goodall, Charlize Theron, Michael Douglas and George Clooney in the new position.
‘Our newest Messenger of Peace is someone who is admired by millions of people and has given back to millions of people,’ Ban Ki-Moon said about Stevie Wonder being appointed Messenger of Peace.
