After a successful teddy bear delivery earlier this month, we're co-sponsoring a "teddy bear” social/fundraiser with the 20's and 30's Going Out Group.
Notice the date. Ah yes, love is in the air … our Charity Happy Hour will be the night before Valentine's day! The event will be at The Muse Lounge, which opened in Chinatown last Nov 1st. This is a beautiful and stylish venue, formerly RnR, and the owners have renovated the interior with a new design and layout. It's very spacious, and we will have the ENTIRE venue all to ourselves. Further, if you have a new teddy bear 10-14″ tall and wish to donate it, please bring it. A Hugs Across America greeter will be at door after you enter. You'll be greeted with a warm hello, and provided a nametag. Plus, we'll be running an ice-breaker activity to facilitate the 'meetup'. So don't be afraid to come alone, as you'll make friends right away! Muse Lounge is on 6th St. between G and H St. The Gallery Place / Chinatown Metro Stop is 1 block away.
