As we collectively address the pressing issue of homelessness, it’s important to highlight an upcoming event that harmonizes music with a charitable cause. New Hope is thrilled to announce the “Watford Phoenix Choir Christmas Concert,” a delightful evening of festive melodies and goodwill set to take place on December 09th. This heartwarming event promises enchanting carols, joyous celebrations, and an opportunity to raise funds for New Hope’s essential work in providing shelter and support to those experiencing homelessness in our community.

Join us for a fabulous, festive fundraising concert on Saturday 9th December at St Mary’s Parish Church, Watford!

The Watford Phoenix Choir will be performing a wonderful selection of songs at this Christmas concert with all money raised being donated to New Hope.

Doors open at 5pm and the concert begins at 5.30pm. Refreshments will be available.

Watford Phoenix Choir are a fun and friendly group who are always looking for new members!

They meet on Wednesday evenings during term time at Central Primary School on Derby Road, Watford. Singing a varied repertoire of traditional choral works, show tunes and pop songs, they are a supportive choir focussing on the enjoyment of singing – no audition is required!

Future plans include singing at charity concerts in Watford and beyond, with hopes to travel together on tour when cirumstances allow.

Free taster sessions are offered to new members, so do join the Watford Phoenix Choir for a good sing, a cup of tea and sometimes home-made cake!
