Holistic Moms meeting PLYMOUTH &ndash The Plymouth/South Shore chapter of the Holistic Moms Network will host an Integrative Healthcare Providers panel discussion at its
monthly meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, at the Plymouth Public Library at 132 South St. The panel will include Arlene Dijamco, M.D., integrative pediatrician John Catapano, D.C., family chiropractor and Brian Whidden, M.Ac., acupuncturist and herbalist. The panel will focus on making mindful healthcare choices for your family and will welcome questions. The Holistic Moms Network is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting moms with an interest in holistic health and green living. The local chapter holds monthly meetings on a variety of topics including organic food, breastfeeding, healthy lawn and garden care, and positive discipline. The chapter also offers a playgroup for moms with babies, preschoolers and older children. The local chapter welcomes moms, dads, grandparents and other family members from Plymouth, the South Shore and surrounding areas. PLYMOUTH &ndash Visit Croma Restaurant, located at 160 Colony Place, at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 13, for “A ’60s Happening” &ndash a night of ’60s trivia, karaoke, fun, games, door prizes, raffles and a prize for best ’60s attire. Tickets are $15 at the door and include pizza and salad. There will be a cash bar, beverages are not included in the ticket price. PLYMOUTH &ndash Plymouth Crossings senior living community will host Chico’s Spring Fashion Preview from 4:30 to 6 p.m., Thursday, May 14. The community is located at 157 South St. in Plymouth. Attendees will enjoy refreshments while browsing Chico’s spring collection. Items from the collection will be available for purchase and giveaways will include coupons and door prizes of Chico’s gift certificates. The event is free and open to the public, but RSVP by calling Plymouth Crossings at 508-830-4744. Plymouth Crossings offers assisted living and the Harbor Program, which provides specialized care for those with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. PLYMOUTH &ndash In honor of national nursing home week, the residents of Radius HealthCare Center, located at 123 South St., are hosting a vendor fair from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, May 15. Participants include Tastefully Simple, Silpada, Mary Kay, Lia Sophia, massages, crafts, Tupperware, Rosa’s Foods and more. Proceeds will benefit the South Shore Community Action Council’s Greater Plymouth Food Warehouse. The public is invited.
