Yao Ming will be honored this week at the Wild Aid Charity Gala.
The basketballer will join other guests and honorary hosts Jackie Chan and Edward Norton.
“WildAid’s mission is to end illegal wildlife trade in our lifetimes by reducing demand through public awareness campaigns and providing comprehensive marine protection.”
The Wild Aid Charity Gala is on 5 May.
