Michael Sim shot 22-under to earn his second victory of the season on the Nationwide Tour. Brown currently ranks 81st on the Hooters Tour, where he has played five events. He has made the cut twice, with his best finish being a tie for 18th at the Amelia Island Plantation NGA Classic. Brown’s best finish last year was second, and he won a tour stop in 2007. This week Brown is scheduled to play in Booneville, Ind., near Evansville.
Next week he will be very close to home, playing in the ADI Classic at Cherry Blossom Country Club in Georgetown, Ky. This 72-hole tournament gets under way at 7:30 a.m. Thursday and finishes Sunday.
