Wonder what it’s like to breathe fresh air as you walk through lush greenery? Have you ever thought of what it’s like to be in a breathtaking UNESCO world heritage site? Sounds absolutely relaxing right? This is what you’ll experience if you join Adventure Trek: Camino de Santiago, a trek of the final 67km of Camino Frances, being organized by St Wilfrid’s Hospice on October 4-8, 2023. Proceeds raised will go to the St Wilfrid’s Hospice funds to help them take care of their terminally ill patients free of charge.
Taking on a trek like this can be a spiritual experience, especially if you wish to walk in memory of someone cared for by St Wilfrid’s Hospice.
You might be the kind of person that likes to take on hard challenges for the chance to test yourself and feel a sense of achievement.
Whatever the reason you may feel drawn to this adventure you will be fully supported for the entire journey – from sign up, through fundraising and then with the walk itself.
This special journey will take place from 4- 8 October 2023, and all participants will be signing up to raise vital funds for St Wilfrid’s Hospice. The amount you raise could fund expert care on our hospice ward for a person for 2 days which means you could be making a really compassionate difference to someone and their loved ones.
There’s a quote that goes, “Never underestimate the difference you can make in the lives of others. Step forward, reach out, and help. Reach out to someone that might need a lift.” For you, this event may just be a pilgrimage. For someone else, it may mean the difference between life or death. Register and join the trek now.
