Want to try something different from the usual store-bought holiday décor this year? Why not create your own? If you’re from Clifton, Nottingham, mark your calendars on December 16 for Footprints’ Charity Festive Wreath Making workshop. This event is open to all folks, whether you be an artisan or a newbie at crafting. Happening at Footprints Centre, you’ll be taught how to create a sustainable wreath using preserved pine, cedar, eucalyptus, and more. You’ll also get to enjoy a glass of prosecco, or soft drink, and a minced pie, to make the event even more festive. Proceeds raised will go to Footprints, a charity “which transforms the lives of children living with mobility and communication difficulties across the East Midlands.”

Did you know that the Christmas wreath can be traced back to Ancient Rome? In those times, wreaths signified victory, honor, and status. Today, they symbolize love, hope, joy, and life. Make this holiday season extra special as you create your very own Christmas wreath to hang on your door. Get your tickets to Footprints’ Charity Festive Wreath Making workshop here now.
