SINGERS from Clevedon are needed to join in with a charity event in Bristol on June 27.
Hundreds of singers will be taking part in the Sing for Water South West event at the Harbourside to raise money for WaterAid. Wendy Sergeant and Chris Parfitt have started up a Clevedon Sing for Water choir to encourage people from North Somerset to join in. They are now appealing for people from Clevedon to sign up to the practice sessions which are being held on Friday, May 22, 29 and June 5, 12 and 26 at Kenn Road Methodist Church in Clevedon. People do not need to have any singing experience or be able to read music. Tickets are £36 for seven sessions which includes the registration fee.
