Group Guitar for All Ages: Brookdale Music’s popular Group Guitar classes for Beginners will meet Thursdays for 12 weeks through April 23.

Lincoln archive: North Central College will open its archive of Lincoln materials and display, among other items, a hand-written 1859 letter and a presidential telegram from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the college’s Oesterle Library, 320 E. School St. Naperville in the Age of Lincoln: Naper Settlement joins in the national celebration of the bicentennial of President Abraham Lincoln’s birth with an exhibit about Naperville in the 1830s through 1860s titled “Naperville in the Age of Lincoln.” The exhibit runs through June 28. Art contest: Naperville’s Sister Cities Commission is hosting the Young Artists Competition for youth between the ages of 13 and 18 to design a piece of artwork that encompasses the theme “Your Path to Peace.” Entries are due to the Mayor’s Office in the Naperville Municipal Center, 400 S. Eagle St., by 4 p.m. March 13. An entrant must be between the ages of 13 and 18 as of April 30 and either a resident of Naperville or a student in a Naperville Community Unit School District 203 or Indian Prairie School District 204 school.
